Chinese taxi hailing apps to
merge

Alibaba-backed Kuaidi Dache and Tencent’s Didi
Dache said over the last weekend they had completed a ‘strategic merger’ that
leaves the two app companies operationally independent and leaves keeps both
chief executives in place.The two gave no detail on how they are defining a
merger that entails few obvious synergies and a high degree of de facto
independence.

上周末，阿里巴巴投資的快的打車和騰訊旗下的滴滴打車表示，雙方已完成“戰(zhàn)略合并”。合并完成后，兩家應(yīng)用公司的運(yùn)營將保持獨(dú)立，兩位首席執(zhí)行官仍將留任。這兩家企業(yè)幾乎沒有明顯協(xié)同效應(yīng)，事實(shí)上還將保持高度獨(dú)立性，也都沒有給出此次“合并”的細(xì)節(jié)。
